Are your caregivers bonded and insured?
Yes, at American Companion Care all the caregivers are bonded and insured. We want you to feel secure in knowing we are committed to you and your family by providing this assurance and that our referral list has only care providers we would have in our homes.
Can your services be covered by Medicare?
At this time Medicare does not pay for non-medical services in the home. However, many long-term care policies do. If you have a long-term care policy American Companion Care will help you evaluate the policy and answer questions you may have and communicate with the providing agency to help determine benefits.
What if I don't feel compatible with my caregiver?
Compatibility is of high importance and we pride ourselves in making excellent matches. However, if a change needs to be made we will do that quickly, our employee list is extensive. American Companion Care is committed to keeping you or your loved one at home in a comfortable environment.
Do I have to commit to a specific length of time for this service?
There is no time requirement for the service agreement. We gladly offer our services to you even if you need assistance for a brief period of time.
How much do your services cost?
American Companion Care services are reasonably priced. Our fees for service are included in our client information packet which we will send to you via email or postal service upon your request. You can also download an information packed with rates included from the home page of our web site.
Who are the care providers?
